| dc.description.abstract | Thomas Faist (PhD, New School for Social Research) é professor de Sociologia Transnacional, Migrações e Desenvolvimento na Universidade de Bielefeld na Alemanha. Dirige o Centro sobre Migração, Cidadania e Desenvolvimento (COMCAD). Thomas Faist tem contribuído para os debates sobre cidadania, transnacionalismo, migração e política social em curso na Europa e fora dela. É autor e co-autor de numerosos livros, incluindo The Transnationalized Social Question: Migration and the Politics of Social Inequalities in the Twenty-First Century (2019), Disentangling Migration and Climate Change (2016), Transnational Migration (2013), assim como Citizenship: Discourse, Theory and Transnational Prospects (2007), e Dual Citizenship in Europe (2007).
